The Church once built Western civilization. When we think of the greatest works of art, the Sistine Chapel, Saint Peter's Basilica, Notre Dame, all of it was driven by the Catholic faith. At some point, for one reason or another, we let go of the reins, and those outside the Church didn't hesitate to pick them up.
Too much Catholic content today simply isn't good enough anymore to shape hearts and minds. My goal is to raise the bar of excellence in Catholic media so it reaches even those outside the Church.
Excellence isn't the whole of it. Part of the mission is rebuilding unity within the Church, and unity is not built at a distance. If we're fighting each other, we don't stand a chance of reaching those outside the Church. That's why the Catholic Creator Conference will always be in person, never remote: real, incarnational relationships are what turn a scattered field of creators into something that can carry the faith. Everything I do is ultimately in service of evangelization and the Great Commission.
If you have something to build, I'd like to hear about it.
